This is out of support for those people in the LGBT+ community whose gender identity is ambiguous or different to the way people assume it to be.

People who are transitioning, or otherwise have diverse gender identities, need a safe normalized and accepted platform to be able to specify their gender identity to others.

By adding this to the email signature, it is our intent to contribute to normalising this practice.
